CZI Funding of PCH2cure Continues

CZI Funding of PCH2cure Continues

The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI) is now officially funding the PCH2cure project for a second round.

The non-profit foundation of facebook founder Marc Zuckerberg and his wife Dr. Priscilla Chan selected the PCH2cure project for a multi-million euro grant back in 2022, with the first part of the sum being transferred directly at the time; now the second part of the grant has been officially approved and paid out

Subdividing the funds in this way is a way of taking stock: Only projects that demonstrably meet the defined targets and continue to develop will receive the second part of the grant. The grant is distributed among both research at PCH2 and the PCH-Familie e.V. patient initiative

We are very pleased that the CZI considers our work to be progressive, important and innovative and is therefore continuing to support it.

An overview of the research projects being supported can be found here.

The funds invested in the patient initiative are used in several areas, including networking between affected families, showcasing research projects, and the work on our international website pch2cure.org.
